Universal Project 910 – Universal Helios Grand Hotel

Customer: DPR

Description: Fabrication and erection of 318 tons of specialty structural steel for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a 500-room Mediterranean-inspired luxury resort overlooking Celestial Park within Universal Epic Universe. Met-Con’s scope included several of the hotel’s signature architectural features, including the grand porte-cochère canopy, ballroom support steel, multiple decorative and functional canopies, and the main center dome that defines the property's arrival experience and public spaces.

The project required exceptional precision in the fabrication and erection of architecturally exposed structural steel, where both structural performance and visual appearance were critical. As one of the most anticipated hospitality developments in the country, the project highlights Met-Con’s expertise in delivering complex feature steel for landmark destination resorts and high-profile entertainment developments.
