Description: Fabrication and erection of structural steel for the Dr. Phillips Nursing Pavilion, a $68 million, 90,000-square-foot academic health sciences facility on the University of Central Florida Lake Nona Campus delivered by DPR Construction. Designed to support the next generation of healthcare education and research, the facility features advanced simulation laboratories, wet and dry research spaces, and a collaborative learning environment connecting students, faculty, and industry partners. The project serves as a hub for innovation and interdisciplinary healthcare training, with key partnerships including AdventHealth, Orlando Health, and Nemours Children's Health. The project highlights Met-Con’s ability to deliver complex structural steel solutions for leading educational, research, and healthcare facilities.
