Description: Fabrication and erection of the structural and miscellaneous steel for the Dr. Seuss–themed area at Universal Islands of Adventure, featuring attractions inspired by The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.

The project presented a uniquely complex challenge, as the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss intentionally avoids straight lines and conventional geometry. Every structural element required exceptional attention to detail to preserve the artistic vision while still meeting strict structural, fabrication, and installation requirements.

Unlike any project before or since, the work demanded an extraordinary balance between creative design intent and the practical realities of engineering and construction.
