55 West Apartments

Customer: Hensel Phelps Construction Company

Description: The 55 West on the Esplanade project consists of a 34-story mixed-use building and a 12-story attached parking garage located on Church Street in the heart of downtown Orlando, FL. Met-Con’s scope of work for this project included steel stairs for all (9) stairs located in the building and the parking garage, the large grand stair in the outdoor courtyard, structural framing for the glass storefront which fronts Church Street, structural framing for the glass canopy located on the 2nd level, structural framing to connect the building to the existing walkway bridge above Church Street, structural framing for the rolled “bell-curved” shaped roof and center spire.
